Station 24 Rescue was dispatched Friday September 5, 2008 at 13:26 to a Fire Box in the vicinity of County route 517 and Laurel Mountain Way for a vehicle fire. The hay which the Dump Truck was carrying caught fire and spread to surrounding brush on both sides of the highway. 24 Rescue established EMS sector command on the north side of the fire with BLS 24-51, Rescue 24-56 and Special Operations 24-59. Station 22 Whitehouse Rescue established EMS sector command on the south side of the fire near Oldwick Fire.

Agencies responded included Fairmount, Oldwick, Califon Fire Companies along with Tewksbury Police, Tewksbury DPW, State of NJ Forest Service.
